ORDERING POLICIES

To Place an Order By Secure Shopping Cart

Our secure online shopping cart is convenient and easy to use. To order any item, click on "Add to Cart". This will place the item(s) in your shopping cart. Then click on "Continue Shopping" to take you back to where you left off. Continue adding items to your Shopping Cart in this manner. When you are finished shopping, click on "Proceed to Checkout" and complete the shipping and payment information form. The shopping cart will calculate an estimated shipping amount based upon the shipping method you have chosen. (Also see "Shipping Methods and Policies") You may feel secure that the personal and financial information you submit will remain private, according to our "Privacy Policy". Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards are accepted as payment. 

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order and payment amount including estimated shipping cost.  Actual shipping weight and cost will be manually determined and your invoice will be adjusted appropriately, prior to shipping.

To Place an Order By Telephone

If you would like to speak to us directly to place your order, please call us at 503-622-3649.  Credit card payments for phone orders will be processed by Square.  If, when you call, you are directed to voicemail, please leave your phone number, so we may call you back as soon as possible.  Please do not leave your credit card information on voicemail.

To Place an Order By E-mail

You may also place an order through e-mail. Be sure to include your list of soap choices and shipping information (name, shipping address, phone number).  Please do not put your credit card information in any e-mails to us.  We will call you back to complete your order and payment by phone.

PAYMENT METHODS

All orders are to be paid in U.S. Dollars.

Credit/Debit cards: Most credit cards are accepted as payment.  Both credit and debit card payments, as well as PayPal payments are handled via PayPal's payment system, through our secure online shopping cart.

ORDER PREP TIME

We strive to keep all of our products in stock in order to ship your orders out within 1-3 business days of receipt. There may be times, however, when we need an extra day or two to restock. If that is the case with your order, we will notify you by e-mail or telephone to see whether you would like us to ship the items we have in-stock right away, or hold them until all items are ready to ship. For custom and special orders, we will contact you directly regarding the time needed to produce and ship your order.

NO MINIMUM ORDERS

We welcome orders of all sizes, so please order as few, or as many soaps and other items as you wish.
 
Our preferred (and usually most cost-effective) shipping method is USPS Priority Mail.  

CHANGE OR CANCEL ORDER

Because we strive to ship your order within 1-3 business days, additions and/or changes to your order, or order cancellation, can only be accepted up until 10 a.m. Pacific Time on the day after the order was placed. To change your order, please e-mail us at sales@dirtyfacesoap.com or call our office at 503-622-3649. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

 
Washington Sales Tax applies to Washington customers:  As of July 2008, the Washington Department of Revenue requires us (as a Washington company) to charge sales tax on all retail orders shipped to addresses within Washington state.
 

USPS PRIORITY MAIL is our preferred shipper.  Packages typically take 2-3 days to reach addresses within the USA.

All orders are shipped out of WELCHES OR 97067. 

Package Tracking Service: If you have provided us with your email address, you will receive an e-mail notification once your order has been shipped, that includes your Internet tracking number, so you may follow your package's progress.


Please double-check your SHIP TO address. If your package is sent out with an incorrect address that you gave us, and is returned to us, you are responsible for the re-shipping costs. If the package is mis-addressed due to our error, we will re-ship it immediately upon verifying the correct address with you.

Cancellation Policy:  Because we strive to ship your order within 1-3 business days, additions and/or changes to your order, or order cancellation, can only be accepted up until 10 a.m. Pacific Time on the day after the order was placed. To change your order, please e-mail us at sales@dirtyfacesoap.com or call our office at 503-622-3649 (within Oregon) or toll-free at 1-866-622-3649 (outside Oregon). Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

Local Order Pick-Up or Delivery in the Portland, OR area:  If you are in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA metro area and would like to save on shipping costs, we would be happy to arrange for you to pick up your order from us either at our Dirtyface Soap booth at Portland Saturday Market on the weekends we are there (from March to Christmas) or at some other mutually agreeable time and location.  Use our Shopping Cart to place and pay for your order, then call us to arrange to pick up your order.

Returns: Because of health and sanitation concerns, soap sales are final.

Dirtyface Soap Company is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We guarantee your privacy. Any information we collect in the course of your shopping with us is kept strictly confidential, is used solely and exclusively by us to process your order, to communicate with you regarding your orders, and to let you know of special promotions, coupons and relevant product news. We will never sell, rent, or trade any of your personal information to any third party.

Financial information you provide is not used for any other purpose than billing.  Your credit/debit card information will not appear on your e-mail order confirmation, invoice or shipping receipt.
